Transforming Lives in Cumbijín

In the picturesque yet impoverished community of Cumbijín, Pedro, a young farmer, dreams of a brighter future for his children. Like many others, he faces high unemployment rates, limited education, and a lack of basic services. Despite these challenges, Pedro remains committed to his small dairy and alpaca farm, striving to provide for his family.

Make an Impact:
Support Strengthening Production Chains in Dairy and Alpaca Wool

This project aims to help increase the income of 200 vulnerable families living high in the Andean mountains in the communities of Sacha and Cumbijín while strengthening two local associations’ capacity.

Additionally, this project will provide the two communities with piped water to replace the current deteriorated infrastructure. Your gift will also teach and train families to diversify their crops and improve nutrition (through grains, proteins from small animals and vegetables), enhancing their production efficiency by 15%.

Empowering Maria and Her Community

Maria, a loving mother and dedicated farmer in the high Andes of Ecuador, tirelessly works to provide for her family despite the many challenges she faces.

In the rural community of Sacha, life is hard. The impacts of COVID-19, climate change, and limited access to resources make it difficult for Maria to produce enough milk and alpaca wool to sustain her household.

Maria's dream is simple yet profound: to see her children grow up healthy and educated, free from the shackles of poverty. Your generosity can turn this dream into reality. By donating, you are not just helping Maria, but empowering an entire community to rise above their circumstances and build a sustainable future.
