We'll be together with a roof right over our heads

Donate now to provide immediate relief and rebuild lives.
One Love, One Heart,
One Voice
Hurricane Beryl’s eye wall was a Category 4 storm with winds of 130 mph when it lashed Jamaica’s southern coast.
The storm unleashed torrential rain and monstrous wind gusts blowing off roofs, forcing more than 1,400 people into temporary shelters and knocking out power in 60 percent of Jamaica.
Your gift today directly impacts communities, providing the immediate support children and families need to survive and recover.
Coming in From the Cold:
Jamaica's Journey to Recovery
Ahead of Beryl’s devastation in Jamaica, Food For The Poor-Jamaica had prepositioned food items to help people in the most vulnerable areas.
The Bob and Rita Marley Foundation, in collaboration with Food For The Poor, is committed to providing immediate and long-term support to the affected communities. Here’s how our joint efforts are making a difference:
Disaster Preparedness Kits:
Food For The Poor prepositioned kits in Jamaica, Grenada, St. Lucia, Trinidad, and Tobago, each supporting at least 250 families. These kits help communities respond independently to emergencies.
Regular Shipments:
Additionally, 53 containers of aid, including food, hygiene items, and medical supplies, are en route or already in port, with 27 headed to Jamaica. This steady supply ensures continuous support for families to rebuild and recover.
A message from Cedella Marley:
"In times of hardship, we Jamaicans come together. Hurricane Beryl has tested our resilience, but it has also shown the strength of our community. Your generosity will help us rebuild and ensure that our children and families have the support they need to recover.
Thank you for standing with us."
