El Quebrado, a rural community in the municipality of Jiquilisco, is home to approximately 290 families facing increasing floods, droughts, and rising temperatures. These challenges continue to affect livelihoods, food security, health, and daily life.
Through consultations conducted by Food For The Poor and our trusted partner FUSAL, the community identified the need for a safe, dedicated community center — a space where families can come together, access resources, participate in programs, and strengthen their community.
